About Us

When Guy C. Eavers established this excavating business in 1965, he believed that a company founded on the principles of honesty, integrity, dedication, hard work, and superior workmanship would be successful. He was right. Under his direction and following those principles, we are still providing the highest standard of quality services that our customers deserve and demand.

Mr. Eavers and our General Manager, Keith Bottenfield, are committed to dependable and affordable service. Both are lifelong residents of Augusta County, and have maintained a reputation for superior service.

Guy C. Eavers has been a lifelong resident of Augusta County and presently lives on and operates a farm in Mint Spring. He started our company and has owned it since it's inception. He is a member of the Augusta Homebuilder's Association and is very active in his church. He and his wife Judy continue to be very active in the day to day affairs of the business.

Keith Bottenfield has been a lifelong resident of Augusta County and presently lives in New Hope. He is our General Manager and has been in that position since 2007. Prior to being employed with Guy C. Eavers Excavating, Keith was employed by the Virginia Department of Transportation. He is a member of the Augusta Homebuilder's Association, serves as a deacon in his church and teaches an adult Sunday School class.
